With this web page you can communicate with me and acquire useful information about myself, my practice, techniques, and personal experience on clinical hypnosis.

I am registered as a Psychologist (Counselling) at the Health Professions Council of South Africa, with a Masters Degree in Psychology (Clinical and Counselling). I have a particular interest in hypnotic techniques, where I am also qualified through the “South African Society of Clinical Hypnosis” as well as the “Milton. H. Erickson Institute of South Africa”

I have been in private practice since 1994 in Witbank/Emalahleni (Mpumalanga) until present. In addition to psychology, I am also a retired minister (since January 2010) with a Th.B degree in theology. How I work, I follow a eclectical approach which means that alternative and modern methods of psychotherapy are used. (See “fields in which I work” below). This practice focuses mainly on hypnosis. The client is provided with a handout on hypnosis. If the client has any problems, I would discuss this with the client, and a alternative therapeutic approach may be considered. However, hypnosis is actually unavoidable in any form of therapy or counselling. As an international acknowledged expert on the area of hypnosis and depression, dr.
